Privacy Policy

Last updated: [DATE]

This policy explains how [LEGAL COMPANY NAME] (“we”, “us”), trading as Sleak Check Audit, handles your personal information when you use our website and buy a security audit. We are the data controller. For any privacy question, contact support@sleakcheckaudit.co.uk.

What we collect

When you request an audit we collect the name, email address and website URL you submit. When you pay, our payment processor collects your payment details — we never see or store your full card number. We may also collect basic, anonymised usage statistics if analytics is enabled.

Why we use it (legal basis)

We use your details to deliver the audit you ordered and to email you about it (performance of a contract), to reply to enquiries, and to keep records we're legally required to keep. Where we send optional follow-up or marketing emails, we rely on your consent or our legitimate interest, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that make the audit work: Stripe (payments), our email provider [e.g. Resend/Postmark], and, if enabled, our analytics provider [e.g. Plausible]. Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep audit records for [e.g. 24 months] and payment/tax records for as long as the law requires [e.g. 6–7 years]. After that we delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under UK/EU GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any right, email support@sleakcheckaudit.co.uk. You can also complain to your local data-protection regulator [e.g. the ICO in the UK].

Cookies & tracking

[If you keep the site cookieless/privacy-friendly analytics, say so here. If you add cookies or GA4, describe them and provide a consent mechanism.]

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date shows when. Material changes will be posted on this page.
